 If nothing else I am getting my possessions ordered.
 

Today I packed up the Christmas things. On Tuesday 4th December, 2012 I posted a blog about my Christmas decorations.

These were my decorations below that I have  collected over the years.

These decorations including a Christmas tree had to be culled so they could fit into this  box.

 Today I managed to fit everything I am going to keep into the box.

Each day I try to begin by being thankful for 5 things. (I used to do it during my drive to work.) Today I had some trouble.  I think it was because while I was shopping yesterday I saw an acquaintance I hadn't seen for 10 years. I actively avoided her because I didn't want to tell her about the things that had happened in my life since I had seen her last. I think it made me dwell on the last 7 years which have presented some difficulties. The latest has been that I have been made redundant from my job and will have to sell my house of 33 years. I am trying to stay positive about it all and see it as an adventure and a timely change in lifestyle.

I am toying with the idea of when I move into a small space decorating in the Bohemian gypsy style.

These places below look very homey and inviting and warm. Of course I won't be living in a gypsy caravan  - but still......

By the way I did think of 5 things I was thankful for today.

1. My lovely daughters and my relationship with them
2. P:-) and my relationship with him.
3. My mother and my extended family
4. My health
5. My interest in craft and the opportunity to create things

I must admit I did feel better after thinking of these 5 things.
