MY FAVOURITE MONTH

Doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment.

December - my favorite month of the year. I love the run up to Christmas. This is my first little decoration. A few dried flowers left over from the beautiful flowers P:-) bought me and a sparkly little bird I couldn't resist in Woolworths.

I love Christmas magazines. I don't buy them at other times of the year but allow myself the occasional one at this time of the year. I am planning a lunch for P:-)'s children and grand children a little closer to Christmas and  have decided on finger food. So I have been checking out possible recipes and decorating ideas.

I like the look of these little slices of sour cream pastry with basil pesto and feta cheese.

I will have to try everything out on P:-) first.

My backyard is nice and green. P:-) spent the afternoon clearing the steps down to the back.

I love my backyard, and now that my Centrelink payments are more than I had anticipated, thanks to the advice and support of my doctors, I may not have to sell my house. Some of the pressure is off and I have a few more options. At this stage I do not plan to move in with my mother any time soon.

One of the reasons I love my backyard is the lyrebird that visits me each morning. Here he is outside my lounge room window.

He was displaying his beautiful tail feathers while running through the bird calls he mimics so well.

  1. I too love Christmas. I love that Jesus came to us as a little baby to grow and live as a human and experience all that we do, yet He remained so pure unlike us. I love the celebrations that occur this month. I too collect the Christmas editions of my favourite magazines though I would rarely buy a edition all year. Come let us adore Him.
