ANOTHER FULL MOON ALREADY

There's been another full moon. How quickly they seem to come around. These photos were taken in P:-)'s back yard a few nights ago.

September 23rd was our Spring Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere. Day and night are equal. From now on our daylight will be longer than our nighttime. Summer is on its way.

I love the various native birds that visit my garden and yesterday a King Parrot landed there.

We had a lot of King Parrots coming around when we used to feed the birds (until we realised it attracted rats and mice.) The King Parrots were  especially fond of apple cores. We know this is a male as it has a red head. Females have green heads.

On Sunday P:) and I had lunch at the Illawarra Yacht Club with P:-)'s 2 sisters and their husbands. There is always a great view over Lake Illawarra.

As usual it was a very pleasant afternoon. The food was good. The company was good. The view was sensational. What more can you ask for?

I am in the process of clearing up my house to sell it. Another load of rubbish is off to the tip. Everything  usable or recyclable has been had been passed on to those who can make use of it and this is some of what remains.

My little grand-dog Jasper has gone home after staying with me for 4 weeks.

He was very excited about seeing my daughter R and her husband B. There is no doubt that I miss him but I'm sure he is happier at home where he has a far more dog friendly yard. The poor little thing has been on as restricted diet because of some tummy problems. Last night he was given some dried food and was so excited he ran around the house in circles.
