SUN AT LAST

Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.
Robert Collier

Sun at last!! We have had the wettest June in 6 years.

Here are a few photos of the sun outside my window with the glorious sun shining.

I will miss the lovely bush outside my back windows. I have a bush garden which is probably not to everybody's taste, so I don't know how this will affect selling the house. The good thing is that there is no lawn to mow.

It has been so wet that P:-) grew this beautiful toadstool (unintentionally) in his garage.

I have searched the internet but cannot seem to find out what this is.

My daughter J still has her exhibition Shelf Lives  in Gallery 9 in Darlinghurst . Click here to see the catalog.

And what's this??

These are a couple of the many pairs of slippers my mum has knitted me. I love wearing them around the house in winter with socks. They are so cozy.I pad around the house in them, really enjoying being at home. I have been off work for 9 months now and have not been bored at all. In fact I don't have time to do all the things I need to do.

I am trying to get my house ready to sell. I have been made redundant and don't really expect to find a job at 58 - although I am staying hopeful. The amount I will get on welfare will pay my weekly utilities and that's all, so it looks at this stage if I will have to sell my house of 33 years.

But I am looking at it as an adventure.

My life is in a good place

  1. Nine months already! I don't understand people who think they'd get bored if they didn't work. I think they lack imagination. ;) I'd never run out of things to do.

PS No idea what kind of fungus that is, but I like it.
